Liam joined TurksLegal as a Partner in the Commercial team on 2 February 2015.
Liam specialises in all areas of banking and finance law. He has extensive experience in providing legal and structuring advice to lenders and borrowers in connection with general finance, corporate finance, acquisition finance, property finance, securities and other financing arrangements such as receivables based financing and derivatives.
He also has significant experience in general transactional work and corporate advisory matters.
Liam has presented regularly for the Asia Pacific Loan Market Association, and has also run presentations and workshops for clients focusing on documentation and other issues that arise during the course of a transaction.
Prior to joining TurksLegal Liam worked at an international law firm as a senior associate in its banking team. He has undertaken secondments to organisations such as Westpac, BNP Paribas and the Suncorp Group, and has also practised in London and Singapore.
