Jane joined TurksLegal in December 2018.
Jane has predominantly worked in defendant insurance litigation since her admission in 2011, acting exclusively for insurers (domestic and international), self-insured corporations and government departments.
Jane specialises in public liability (slip, trips and falls involving complex procedural and liability issues), product liability and property damage claims as well as risk management and Insurance Contracts Act matters. She also has significant experience in compulsory third party insurance claims (involving complex liability issues, injuries to children, catastrophic injuries, nervous shock and claims against the Nominal Defendant), section 151Z and home warranty claims.
Jane has advised and presented on a number of developments in the law, particularly in respect of evidence gathering procedures, debt recovery, the liability of public authorities and labour hire companies, assessment of damages, practice management and procedural issues arising in litigation.
