Julia Stewart is a Senior Associate in Turks’ Commercial team, based in the Melbourne office.

Julia specialises in commercial litigation and insolvency, advising and acting across the full spectrum of contentious and non‑contentious matters. Her practice includes commercial disputes, banking litigation, debt recovery, security enforcement, and winding up and bankruptcy proceedings. She also regularly represents liquidators in recovery actions arising from insolvency administrations.

Julia acts for a broad range of clients, including individuals, insolvency practitioners, SMEs and large corporate entities. She has conducted litigation on behalf of her clients in all Australian jurisdictions and is experienced in managing matters from early advice through to resolution.
