TurksLegal is delighted to be recognised as one of three finalists in the Lawyers Weekly LGBTQI Champions of Pride awards for awards for National law firms.

Champions of Pride recognises law firms and organisations that best demonstrate a commitment, both pledged and implemented, to the advancement of diversity and inclusion initiatives pertaining to legal professionals who identify as LGBTQI+.

With a focus on strong Policy, Education and Celebration, as a firm Turks works hard to:

• Create inclusive policies that provide equal opportunities to all employees including parental leave policies that support the unique circumstances of the LGBTQI+ community
• Educate staff and the community by partnering with Diversity Australia for training on unconscious bias and partnering with university organisations to mentor LGBTQI+ law students
• Celebrate diversity by hosting “Inclusion Matters” seminars for both staff and clients
