Congratulations to Sammia Jensen, who won the Young Achiever Award at the 2019 Financial Services Council (FSC) Life Insurance Awards in Sydney on Wednesday, 20 March 2019.

TurksLegal was proud to sponsor and partner with the FSC for the Young Achiever Award which acknowledges and celebrates the positive achievements of an individual in the early stages of their career within the Australian life insurance industry.

Alph Edwards, Partner at TurksLegal presented the award to Sammia Jensen, Head of Claims Governance from TAL. Sammia received this award in recognition of her achievements within the Australian life insurance industry. Sammia is responsible for overseeing TAL’s internal claims policies, procedures, and guidelines and has been instrumental in providing practical and consumer focused feedback on the development of the Life Code 2. She is a regular contributor to the Life Code Working Group and has supported the industry’s development of an enhanced and consumer oriented Code.
