Fiona is part of the Commercial Disputes & Transactions Group and Banking Group.
Since joining Turks, Fiona has advised and acted for major clients in contested commercial litigation matters in her key areas of expertise.
Fiona’s key areas of practice are insolvency and dispute resolution.
Fiona’s clients include banks, insolvency practitioners, insurers, landlords, large corporates and SME’s.
She has extensive experience advising banks on enforcing securities and loan agreements and conducts contested litigation on their behalf in Courts in NSW and across Australia.
Fiona advises and acts on behalf of insolvency practitioners in various Corporations Act and Bankruptcy Act matters, including voidable transactions and insolvent trading claims and public examinations.
Fiona advises and acts on behalf of large corporates and SME’s across a wide range of industries in the enforcement of commercial contracts, retention of title claims and rights and recoveries under the Personal Property and Securities Act 2009 (Cth).
For her landlord clients, Fiona advises and acts on their behalf in enforcing lease agreements under the Retail Leases Act 1994 (NSW) and Residential Tenancies Act 2010 (NSW).
Fiona is a very experienced litigator and has a reputation for achieving excellent results for her clients.
