Katie (Kate) joined Turks in 2025 as Special Counsel. She works in the area of statutory workers compensation and has experience advising icare Claims Service Providers, self-insured corporations, and employers in all aspects of claims management, liability and dispute resolution. She specializes in managing standard and complex litigated matters focusing on achieving commercially sound and timely resolution on behalf of her clients.

Kate regularly appears as an advocate in the Personal Injury Commission and has experience at the appellant level.
