Lachlan is a Senior Associate in Turks’ Employer’s Liability team, based in the Newcastle office.

He advises scheme agents, employers and brokers across a broad range of workers compensation and work injury damages matters. He provides strategic, end-to-end guidance throughout the lifecycle of a claim, from early liability considerations through to litigation and resolution, with a focus on achieving efficient and commercially sound outcomes.

He has significant experience appearing in the Personal Injury Commission of New South Wales, where he navigates complex legal issues to achieve favourable outcomes. He also appears in the District Court and assisted in appellate matters before the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the Court of Appeal.

His work is complemented by his commitment to mental health advocacy. He regularly volunteers with mental health organisations and delivers presentations to schools, workplaces and community groups, contributing to initiatives that have raised over $215,000 for suicide prevention.

He is recognised for his personable approach and his focus on achieving practical, commercially aligned outcomes.
