Matthew joined Turks in February 2016 as a graduate in the Life Insurance, Superannuation & Financial Advice team and was promoted to Partner in 2023.

Key areas of practise include insurance litigation (at the interstate and Federal level) and providing advice to insurers on disputes and claims.

Matthew has strong experience particularly in advising on defendant insurance involving personal injury and is a strong and forceful litigator.

Additionally, Matthew has had the opportunity to spend time ‘in house’ on front and back-end secondments with some of our major insurer clients.
