Mohammad has a broad and diverse background spanning multiple practice areas including property, construction, insolvency, insurance and debt recovery. He also has experience working with financial institutions, building management, and in‑house within a publicly listed company.
He focuses on subrogated recovery matters, with a particular focus on property-related claims. He has developed strong technical expertise in matters involving the Building Act 1993 (Vic), National Construction Code (NCC), Domestic Building Contracts Act 1995 (Vic), Water Act 1989 (Vic), tortious claims (including negligence and nuisance), breach of contract, the Australian Consumer Law, and the Insurance Contracts Act 1984 (Cth).
He acts primarily for domestic and international insurers, delivering commercially focused outcomes in complex and often high-value recovery matters. He has previously acted for a diverse client base including individuals, small to medium enterprises, banking and financial institutions, ASX-listed companies, and government entities including local councils and water authorities. His experience across multiple industries and jurisdictions enables him to understand varied commercial drivers, communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, and guide clients through the full lifecycle of disputes.

Known for his pragmatic and commercially driven approach, he focuses on resolving matters efficiently and cost‑effectively, often at the pre‑litigation stage wherever possible.
