We are delighted to welcome David Pitt as a Special Counsel in our Queensland General Insurance practice.

David is a highly experienced General Insurance lawyer with over 20 years’ experience in Liability, personal injury, workers compensation, and insurance advice, litigation and dispute resolution in Queensland. The addition of David to TurksLegal’s insurance team adds further depth to our strong Queensland capabilities.

Over the course of his career David has worked in both private practice and in-house roles, acting for insurers and plaintiffs in personal injury, public liability and professional negligence matters. For the past five years David has been the Managing Solicitor heading up the Internal Defence Litigation Team for Woolworths Group operating out of Brisbane.

David is recognised as an expert in the fields of public liability and workers compensation litigation with a practical and commercial approach that comes from an in-depth understanding of what commercial insurers want and need!
