Experience
Stephanie has experience advising both employers and employees on all aspects of employment and industrial relations law including unfair dismissals, general protections, enterprise agreement disputes, post-employment restraints and employee entitlements. During her time working at two different unions, Stephanie participated in enterprise bargaining making her adept in understanding the bargaining process and the approval of enterprise agreements.
Having recently worked at the Victorian Department of Education, she has further expanded her knowledge into discrimination and education law and provided advice to internal stakeholders including state government schools regarding issues related to employment, safety and discrimination law.
Stephanie has broad expertise within all areas of employment and industrial law. She has provided advice to employers, employees and when working in-house, internal stakeholders. Her varied experience provides her with insight as to how to best assist clients having regard to the specific issues and concerns they may have. Stephanie has appeared in various courts and tribunals including the Fair Work Commission. Her litigation experience and her understanding of clients’ preferences allows her to provide strategic and practical advice.
