Stratos is a Partner in our Employers Liability team based in our Melbourne office.

Stratos is an experienced defendant specialist lawyer with over 16 years’ experience in the personal injuries area. Stratos has a deep expertise of Victorian workers compensation legislation and case law, and has acted for and advised insurers and employers in Victoria across a wide range of workers compensation related issues. The addition of Stratos to Turks’ insurance team adds further strength and depth to our Victorian capabilities.

Over the course of his career Stratos has worked in both private practice and in-house roles, acting for WorkSafe scheme insurers, self-insurers and employers across the spectrum of Victorian workers compensation matters. Prior to joining Turks Stratos managed the legal/disputes portfolio for the Group Insurance arm of Wesfarmers, initially in the Southern States, and then on a national level. This included managing legal strategy on individual matters, as well as reporting to management in respect of observed trends, and analysing risk for premium purposes.
