Lisa started with Turks as a law clerk in 1999 whilst completing her studies.

Lisa is now a partner practising in both our Commercial Solutions and Banking & Finance Solutions teams.

Lisa’s particular expertise is as a litigator. She acts in a number of areas including commercial disputes, banking litigation, secured and unsecured recoveries, asset realization, debt recovery and insolvency (in which she has obtained post-graduate qualifications). Lisa’s clients include large corporates, government bodies, insolvency practitioners and banks.

Lisa has conducted complex litigation in various State Courts and in the Federal Court and routinely represents, her clients in alternative dispute resolution processes, such as mediations and settlement conferences.

Lisa plays a pivotal role in our internal training program, having authored a number of key client publications including online recourse guides for her key clients. Lisa has also been instrumental in the development and implementation of our proprietary litigation management software, TurksFocus, which is used by major clients across several practice groups.

Lisa is recognised in Best Lawyers 2024 for her expertise in Insolvency and Reorganisation Law.
