Turks is delighted to announce the promotion of Jacqueline Kelly and Leo Murray to Partner in our General Insurance team effective 1 July 2022.

Both appointments are well deserved recognition of each individual’s commitment to client service and delivering commercial outcomes, as well as their leadership within the General Insurance team. Jacqueline and Leo are both based in our Sydney office.

Jacqueline joined Turks in 2016 and practices exclusively for insurers and self-insured corporations providing strategic and commercial advice for a range of defendant liability, motor, property and recovery matters. Jacqueline is renowned for her clear and strategic advice and her knowledge of the motor vehicle insurance litigation landscape including particular expertise in contentious hire car and liability disputes. Jacqueline also advises liability insurers in personal injury and accident & health disputes.

Leo joined Turks in September 2016 and acts for a range of general insurers in the Australian market. Leo specialises in providing insurers with indemnity advice and litigation services in property and recovery matters with a particular expertise in fire claims and investigations. Leo has built a strong reputation for his understanding of the complex relationships between insurers, insureds and intermediaries as well as his direct advice and dispute resolution skills.
