Jacqueline joined Turks in 2016 and is a Partner in the General Insurance group.
She practices exclusively for insurers and self-insured corporations providing strategic and commercial advice for a range of both defendant and recovery matters. She has extensive experience in preparing matters for litigation and appearing in the Local and District Court as an advocate on behalf of her clients.
Jacqueline specialises in insurance claims involving property damage, business interruption, complex motor and accident & health. She is also experienced in advising insurers on issues involving the Insurance Contracts Act 1984 including indemnity, policy interpretation, fraud & investigations, non-disclosure and misrepresentation.
Jacqueline supervises a team of junior lawyers and law clerks in relation to legal issues and processes as well as the specific practices adopted for major clients. Jacqueline has experience writing and presenting to clients on her area of expertise with a number of contributions to relevant TurkAlerts and seminars.
Jacqueline has been recognised for the last two years in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for her expertise in Insurance Law.
