Peter is our Melbourne office Managing Partner. He is an insurance lawyer with over 30 years’ experience encompassing both life and general insurance claims and products, in particular TPD, term life and income protection.

Peter advises on product and marketing materials, privacy and TPA issues. He is also a regular implementer of training courses for claims agents.

Peter is a regular guest speaker for the Australian and Life Underwriting Claims Association (ALUCA) in Victoria.

Peter has been recognised as a leading lawyer in the Australasian Legal Business (ALB) review of insurance law.

Prior to joining Turks, Peter worked as an in-house lawyer in AXA Australia's risk and litigation division. He has also held a senior legal position with a major insurance broker, handling professional indemnity claims and advising on all insurance related matters including policy interpretation, claims handling and statutory interpretation.
