We are delighted to announce that Scott Breihl, Associate in Sydney’s General Insurance team, has won the Australian Insurance Law Association’s (AILA) Gill Award, instigated to recognise the outstanding contribution made by Michael Gill to the insurance industry and to insurance law both here in Australia and internationally through his long association with AIDA, the international body.
Scott’s essay was titled: A fair go: What Insurance Ombudsman Schemes around the world can learn from the Australian experiment with fairness.
